Ryan Praises GOP Congressman Who Says Obama "Tearing" U.S. Down
August 16, 2012, Paul Ryan Vice Presidential Rally in Ohio:
REP. BOB GIBBS: But this administration, this president, wants to demonize success and hard work... He wants to make us all dependent on the government! We don't want that, do we? We not only built the business, we built this country. And we're not going to let him tear it down, are we?
REP. PAUL RYAN: I just want to take a moment to tell you about these two gentlemen you have serving your area in Congress. Bob Gibbs and, of course, Jim Renacci. These two gentlemen came to Washington to fix what was broken in Washington. They didn't come for political careers, they came for the cause of reigniting liberty and prosperity and getting prosperity back on track. You are so well served by these two gentlemen! Thank you for your service.
