President Trump made his first comments about the still-too-close-to-call parliamentary elections in Israel Wednesday in California, reiterating that the U.S. relationship is "with Israel" and would continue whether or not Benjamin Netanyahu remains as Prime Minister.
REPORTER: Have you spoken to Netanyahu?
PRESIDENT TRUMP: I have not. those results are coming in and it's very close. Do you have any updates? Any updates? You people usually should know before the president, right?
[INAUDIBLE QUESTION]: ...
TRUMP: No, I'm not. No, I'm not. Everybody knew it was going to be very close. We'll see what happens. Look, our relationship is with Israel. We'll see what happens. Thank you, everybody.
