FLASHBACK, 2019: HBO's John Oliver Warns About Unsecure Voting Machines

Last year, HBO's John Oliver spent almost an entire program warning about the threat that voting machines can be tampered with or hacked, particularly mentioning Dominion Voting Systems, a Toronto-based company that President Trump's legal team says was used to change votes from Trump to Biden in key states.

Oliver cites a recent court case showing that Georgia had not updated its voting systems since 2005. "They've been clicking the 'remind me later' button on a vital security update for a decade," he joked. "Meaning Georgia elections are operating with the same level of security as every dad."

"So to recap, I've now shown you how to hack voting machines in under two minutes, and how to find unattended voting machines," he smiled.
