Trump to Paul Ryan: "Not Backing Down" on Tariffs

President Donald Trump says "we're not backing down" on his push to impose tariffs on imported steel and aluminum despite criticism from fellow Republicans. Asked by a reporter during an Oval Office meeting with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump said the tariffs "could be part of NAFTA."

Reporter: "Paul Ryan says he's worried about a trade war, are you going to back down on the tariffs?"

President Trump: "No, we're not backing down."

House Speaker Paul Ryan is "extremely worried about the consequences" of the tariff, and is urging the White House "to not advance with this plan," according to a statement issued by his office.
