On CNN, former Attorney General Eric Holder discusses voting laws, written by GOP lawmakers, passed in multiple states:
"I think the things that you're seeing around the country with regard to voter suppression is really subverting our democracy. The fight that we have now as Americans is not really over a particular issue, we can talk about infrastructure and how big a bill should be. That's not really the primary thing we should be concerned about. Our democracy is at stake, Republicans have made a determination that they want to hold on to power and do everything they can to hold on to power if it means subverting our democracy and making us a less democratic nation, they're okay with that. You see this being repeated in state after state with the package of these bills in state after state, something we need to recognize and we all need to fight."
