DAILY MAIL: Kamala Harris in Singapore delivered what was billed as a major foreign policy speech, but failed to mention Afghanistan. Instead, while holding a roundtable with business leaders, she mentioned climate change and the threat to on-time delivery of Christmas presents due to the pandemic. She did take questions on Afghanistan following her speech, but her skirting of the major issue of the moment was noted. Harris's team said the trip was designed to emphasize the importance that the Biden administration places on the region.
"The stories that we are now hearing about the caution that if you want to have Christmas toys for your children it might be the time to start buying them because the delay may be many, many months," the Vice President of the United States advised.
