House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy denounced Speaker Pelosi's effort to set up an outside commission to investigate the riot at the Capitol on January 6.
CNN's Manu Raju asked McCarthy if he would testify before that commission about his controversial conversation with former President Trump on January 6th.
McCarthy answered: "Sure, next question."
"You've got two committees in the Senate already doing an investigation," McCarthy said. "And then you've got the Justice Department... arrested already 445 people. That is the type of work we want done to make sure it never happens again."
"We must secure this Capitol and don't play politics with it. I just think a Pelosi commission is a lot of politics."
