Feminist Naomi Wolf calls out Twitter and YouTube for suspending her content in an appearance on "Tucker Carlson Tonight" on Wednesday. Wolf, who received two Twitter suspensions after she appeared on Carlson's show in late February
, said we must seize the constitution back and have to call out Big Tech for creating divisions.
In that interview, Wolf warned the United States is becoming a "totalitarian state before our eyes," and said, "I really hope we wake up quickly, because history also shows that it’s a small window in which people can fight back before it is too dangerous to fight back."
Wolf explained the Twitter "time out" to the audience on Wednesday and said the process to get her account back was like Chinese Communist Party conditioning.
"The way that Twitter kind of put me in a time out and made me kind of clean up my mess is really kind of conditioning us to not think like Americans," Wolf told Carlson. "It's really a very kind of CCP-type of conditioning to kind of conform and watch our words. It's censorship."
"Unfortunately, my side, Dems, are kind of in an embrace with Big Tech to kind of consolidate power on social media and drown out conservative voices," she said. "It's not good for the country and it's not good for our union."
"One of the things that I was calling attention to before I got de-platformed is the fact that Big Tech is part of the shape of lockdowns, the way the policy unfolds,” Wolf said. "So we do have to seize our Constitution back and call out Big Tech for censorship and for exploiting these divisions."
