MSNBC presidential historian Michael Beschloss on the meaning of the end of a Trump presidency: "I would love to just spend tonight enjoying this day, having new people appointed to positions. I don't have to worry whether they are secretly working for a foreign government. Or that they are there to steal money. Whether they are there to help Donald Trump make an authoritarian takeover of the United States. I think we're pretty near out of the clear. As you know, my wife and I have two sons that are in their 20s. I have felt for three years and ten months every single day they have been in danger. I think tonight maybe I'll be able to start going to sleep."
