During an "Election Protection" livestream the campaign hosted on Monday titled "What to Expect on Election Night," Jen O'Malley Dillon explained what the Biden campaign plans to do during Election Day and in any disputes afterward.
BIDEN CAMPAIGN: We want to discuss what Trump is trying to do to create chaos in our electoral process. our plan is to do these regularly over today and tomorrow to give you the information we're seeing, and that we're going back and forth on that.
It was reported yesterday that President Trump believes if he wins the east coast battleground states --Florida, North Carolina, and Georgia-- he plans to declare victory.
We want to be clear with you, if he tries to do that, that will not be true. Just declaring victory without actually having own in the kind of states that we're talking about here is really, basically, trying to say that COVID is over even though we know it is not, and all the evidence is saying COVID continues... So we want to make sure that we're having this dialogue...
Under no scenario will Donald Trump be declared victor on election night. And we think that is really fundamental to how we want to approach tomorrow.
