It's clear from this clip that Stahl was wasting the president's time to get laughs from other journalists. She wasn't conducting a real interview.

Trump says Stahl is planning to take him out of context to make him look bad by challenging his claims that the U.S. economy was "the greatest economy in the history of our country" before the outbreak of the coronavirus.
