"The participants, almost to the number, felt that the two candidates were too bitter toward each other, too vicious toward each other and they didn't get what they were coming for," Luntz said. "It was not a successful evening for the candidates and it was a disastrous meeting for American democracy."
"[Trump] is losing right now," Luntz said. "He has to change the dynamics which means putting pressure on Biden from a policy perspective, not from a personal perspective. You're not going to bring Joe Biden down for his persona, you have to challenge his policies."
