CNN Anchor Scolds Trump Advisor For Using Term "China Virus"

CNN's John Berman scolded Trump trade and manufacturing adviser Peter Navarro for referring to COVID-19 as the "China virus" and "CCP virus" during an interview Wednesday morning.

"The Chinese communist Party infected this nation with a deadly virus--" Navarro stated before being interrupted,

"No," the CNN host said.


"So why is it that Americans now are fighting against each other?" Navarro wondered. "This China virus. The CCP virus."

"You know what? We let you say that once, Peter. Please don't say it again. I know why you're saying it," Berman said. "I know what you're trying to do there."
