President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell discussed the next coronavirus pandemic relief bill and progress on Covid-19 vaccines Monday morning at the White House. President Trump also announced that the daily coronavirus pandemic task force briefings will resume Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. and suggested a payroll tax cut should be a part of the next relief bill.
"We've had very successful briefings. I was doing them, and we had a lot of people watching, record numbers watching. In the history of cable television, there’s never been anything like it... I’ll do it at 5 o’clock like we were doing. We had a good slot, and a lot of people were watching, and that is a good thing," Trump said.
