During an interview with FNC's "Sunday Morning Futures" host Maria Bartiromo, President Trump suggested that President Obama directed the U.S. intelligence agencies to spy on him and his 2016 transition team and also said, "the whole Mueller investigation was a fraud, it was part of the same deal."
"Yes, he probably directed them but if he didn’t direct them, he knew everything," Trump said of the charge against Obama. "And you're going to see that when the papers come out."
"Brennan bad. They're all bad. Clapper is a not smart guy in charge of intelligence," the president said of the former CIA director and Director of National Intelligence. "But here's the thing, it was impossible for it to happen without the man who sits right in that chair in the Oval Office -- he knew everything."
"The whole Mueller investigation was a fraud, it was part of the same deal," he also said. "What they did to Gen. Flynn --and others, you'll find out above others too-- what they did is an international disgrace... And hopefully, the people involved will pay a big price."
