Today in New Hampshire, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) spoke with SiriusXM’s "Michelangelo Signorile Show" explained why he changed his mind on President Trump and his feelings toward Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT).
Michaelangelo Signorile, Host: And what about Mitt Romney? He's been taking out harsh retribution on him. You've been friendly with him. How do you feel about that?
Sen. Lindsey Graham: I like Mitt Romney and I'm disappointed in his vote. I thought this was a partisan impeachment from day one. I trusted Mueller. I never trusted The House process, but the vote is in and we'll need Mitt's vote going forward. Mitch McConnell said it best..The most important vote is the one to come.
Signorile: Will you be asking the president to pull back on the retribution?
Graham: The president is very upset with this never ending effort to destroy his presidency. I question Mitt's judgment, not his motives. I think that will take care of itself over time, and as President Trump's election to lose right now I'm urging people to vote their pocketbook.
