Democratic National Committee chairman Tom Perez told CNN on Sunday that in the light of last week's Iowa caucus counting disaster, the DNC should eliminate the entire caucus process in 2024 and rearrange the order of state primaries.
"There were 14 states four years ago that held caucuses. Seven of them are now primary states," he said. "Iowa chose to keep their caucus status and I think what we learned from all the mistakes that were made— it's undeniably unacceptable."
He said that this was a "conversation that will absolutely happen after this election cycle."
