House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her seven selected impeachment managers are set to lead a procession across the Capitol building Wednesday afternoon in which the articles of impeachment are delivered in person to the secretary of the Senate. The ceremonial display is scheduled to begin around 5:00 pm EST.
The seven-member prosecution team will be led by the chairmen of the House impeachment proceedings, Reps. Adam Schiff of the Intelligence Committee and Jerry Nadler of the Judiciary Committee and will also include Reps. Jason Crow, Val Demings, Hakeem Jeffries, Zoe Lofgren, and Sylvia Garcia.
"Today is the day that we name the managers, we go to the floor to pass the resolution to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate," Pelosi said Wednesday morning. "He has been impeached forever. They can never erase that."
During Pelosi’s press conference announcing managers, President Trump tweeted that impeachment was “another Con Job by the Do Nothing Democrats. All of this work was supposed to be done by the House, not the Senate!”
Cryin’ Chuck Schumer just said, “The American people want a fair trial in the Senate.” True, but why didn’t Nervous Nancy and Corrupt politician Adam “Shifty” Schiff give us a fair trial in the House. It was the most lopsided & unfair basement hearing in the history of Congress!

The House voted on party lines Wednesday to officially transmit the impeachment they voted on several weeks ago to the Senate, where all of the Senators and Chief Justice Roberts will take a special oath to fulfill the duties outlined for them in the Constitution and to deliver "impartial justice."
Republicans control the Senate by a 53-47 margin and it takes 51 voted to approve new rules, call for witnesses, or acquit the president.
