House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the impeachment managers who will be on the House of Representatives prosecution team in the upcoming Senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump. The House managers are expected to deliver the articles to the Senate in person Wednesday afternoon.
"Today is the day that we name the managers, we go to the floor to pass the resolution to transmit the articles of impeachment to the Senate," she said. "He has been impeached forever. They can never erase that."
"The emphasis is on litigators. The emphasis is on the comfort level in the courtroom. The emphasis is making the strongest possible case to protect and defend our Constitution, to seek the truth for the American people," she also said.
Here we go again, another Con Job by the Do Nothing Democrats. All of this work was supposed to be done by the House, not the Senate!
