House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Thursday during her weekly press conference that she will transmit the two articles of impeachment to the Senate for a trial when she is "ready."
"That will probably be soon," she said.
QUESTION: Are you holding the articles indefinitely?
NANCY PELOSI: No. I'm not holding them indefinitely. I'll send them over when I'm ready. That will probably be soon.
He said if you don't send them over, I'm going to pass the U.S.-Mexico-Canada trade agreement -- okay? We want to see what they're willing to do, and the manner in which they will do it.
But we will not let them say this is just like the Clinton affair -- it is not. Documentation, witnesses, facts, truth, that's what they're afraid of.
