President Trump graphically described the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the founder and leader of the Islamic State at a White House press conference on Sunday morning. Trump announced Sunday that the terrorist leader died "like a dog" while "whimpering and crying and screaming."
“Last night the US brought the world’s No. 1 terrorist leader to justice,” Trump said from the White House Diplomatic Reception Room. “Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is dead.”
“He was the founder and leader of ISIS. The most ruthless and violent terror organization anywhere in the world. The United States has been searching for Baghdadi for many years. Capturing or killing Baghdadi has been the top national security priority of my administration,” Trump said. "He died like a dog, he died like a coward."
“He died after running into a dead-end tunnel, whimpering, crying and screaming all the way,” the president said.
