House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff complained that he and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi were not told in advance about the raid to target ISIS leader al-Baghdadi in an interview Sunday on ABC's "This Week."
“We have notified some and others are being notified now as I speak,” Trump told the press earlier Sunday morning. “We were going to notify them last night but we decided not to do that because Washington leaks like I’ve never seen before. There is nothing — there is no country in the world that leaks like we do.”
"The idea that we would pull our forces away from this vital ally, the Kurds...and now we're sending our troops back in to protect oil?" Schiff said, "So we'll betray an ally, but we'll go back in to protect the oil? That sickens me."
"Good riddance. This was a bloodthirsty killer," he said about the ISIS leader.
