CNBC's Eamon Javers reports from the White House as President Trump tweets that he "orders" U.S. companies to find an alternative to doing business in China.

"The president is in the White House right now meeting with his trade team," Javers reported. "A few moments ago I saw Peter Navarro and Robert Lightheizer waiting outside the Oval Office. Now a source is confirming that meeting is ongoing."
"Meanwhile, White House officials are not offering any explanation for why the president believes he can 'hereby order' American companies to move their supply chains out of China," he added. "Officials not explaining what legal or moral authority the president has to make that order to American companies... We simply at this point don't know what he means by that and neither do some of the officials here in the White House."
