Saturday at the Young Leaders Conference in Atlanta, attended mostly by mostly black millennials, Sen. Bernie Sanders said that if he is elected president he will "go to war against white nationalism and racism."
"I’m Jewish," Sen. Sanders said. "My family came from Poland. My father’s whole family was wiped out by Hitler and his white nationalism. Too many people have fought over the years. Too many people have died against racism to let it resurface and flourish in America."
"When somebody hurts someone else because of the color of their skin, and when somebody kills somebody because of the color of their skin, this is not just a hate crime, which it is, we're talking about domestic terrorism... We're gonna throw the full force of the law against those people."
