In an exclusive interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, former Foreign Service Officer Chuck Park sheds light on his scathing op-ed piece criticizing President Trump. Park argued there is no "deep state" but a "complacent state" in the intelligence community. Park also said the past few years have felt like a man is going around purposely lighting fires.
Park said, "I couldn't do it anymore for myself. To me, it felt like this president and working for this president was an extreme, kind of frustrating, kind of outrage-inducing experience almost on a daily basis. And I'm referring more mostly to domestic policies than foreign policies."
