President of "Judicial Watch" Tom Fitton joins FNC's Maria Bartiromo on "Sunday Morning Futures" to discuss how former Justice Department official Bruce Ohr’s closed-door testimony, released for the first time this week, confirms how closely the DOJ and FBI were working with pro-Clinton operative Christopher Steele during the 2016 election. While he was at DOJ, Ohr's wife Nellie worked for Fusion GPS, the Democratic research firm that paid Steele to write the infamous anti-Trump dossier.
MARIA BARTIROMO: Your takeaways from the release of that testimony from Bruce Ohr?
TOM FITTON: Well, it confirms to a shocking degree how closely the Justice Department and the FBI were working with this Clinton operative Christopher Steele. Remember, he worked for Fusion GPS which was paid for by Clinton campaign and DNC funds to dig up and create dirt on candidate Trump and then President Trump. He was dealing with Ohr through 2016 in the campaign and then through the Mueller investigation in 2017, well after he had been fired by the FBI.
Frankly this is kind of follow the leader with Congress because Judicial Watch first released the document showing 60 communications between Ohr and Steele, and you can tell it was a friendly relationship, and of course, it was a compromised relationship, because Ohr's wife Nellie worked for Fusion GPS and was a colleague of [Fusion GPS founder], Glenn Simpson and Christopher Steele. This "Get Trump" conspiracy run out of the DOJ and the Mueller investigation deserves a lot of attention.
