Pence: "We Have A Crisis" At The Border

Vice President Mike Pence says a "humanitarian and security crisis" at the southern border requires the building of a wall. The vice president sat down with CBS News chief Washington correspondent Major Garrett ahead of President Trump's address to the nation on day 18 of the ongoing government shutdown.

"When the president addresses the nation tonight, he'll be laying out the facts to the American people of what is a genuine humanitarian and security crisis at our southern border," Pence told CBS News.

"The American people will hear from the president tonight that we have a crisis, and we have to address it," he added.
