Maddow: Trump Pulls Out Of Syria A Day After Flynn Admitted He Sold Out Country

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said the Pentagon was caught "off guard" on Wednesday after learning about President Trump's decision to pull out U.S. troops from Syria. Rukmini Callimachi, foreign correspondent for The New York Times, talks with Maddow about the shocked reaction by the U.S. led coalition to Donald Trump's announcement of a pullout of U.S. troops from Syria, and why the move seems more in the interest of Turkey than the United States.

"The day after Trump National Security Adviser Mike Flynn gets dragged all over a federal courtroom for, in the judge's words, basically betraying his country, selling out his country by secretly working as a paid foreign agent for Turkey," Maddow said about the Flynn timing.
