President Trump is asked about tear gas being used at the U.S.-Mexico border at a media availability Monday. Trump is headed for Mississippi on Monday to rally support for GOP U.S. Senate candidate Cindy Hyde-Smith ahead of Tuesday's runoff election against Democratic opponent Mike Espy.
REPORTER: Mr. President, (inaudible). Are you comfortable tear-gassing children (inaudible)?
TRUMP: They're not, as you know, they're not. They had to use because they were being rushed by some very tough people and they used tear gas. And here's the bottom line, nobody's coming into our country unless they come in legally.
