Stormy Daniels Attorney Michael Avenatti: I May Run For President in 2020, "I'm A Real Fighter" - 1122
Avenatti said the Democratic party must nominate the best person to beat Donald Trump and if they can't they have no business running for president.
"The electorate can tell a real fighter from a make-believe fighter," he said.
"People ask me about you because they see us together on CNN and they say, 'Is he serious?' because he's just like Trump but on the Democratic side."
However, people tell Lemon they would vote for him in a general election against Trump.
"Someone said to me do you think it would be odd if you were all of the sudden in a few years do you think that I'll be saying, 'You know, I used to interview that guy, the Stormy Daniels attorney, and now he's the president of the United States.' I looked to him and said, 'Well, that can happen because I used to interview Trump about others things and talk to him about being a birther and all of that and he's the president of the United States. Anything is possible.' That's where we are right now. I'm sure you don't like that comparison, but I'm saying anything is possible. I am saying don't underestimate you or anyone. People underestimated Donald Trump," Lemon said.
