Trump Says He Has "Nothing To Do" With Manafort's Crimes

President Donald Trump tried to distance himself from his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort’s conviction on Tuesday on bank and tax fraud charges, saying it did not involve him and pointing out that Manafort was not found guilty on charges of conspiracy or election collusion.

“I feel very badly for Paul Manafort. It has nothing to do with me. Nothing to do with Russia collusion,” Trump said as he arrived in West Virginia for a rally Tuesday night.

"It doesn't involve me. But I still feel it is a very sad thing that happened. It has nothing to do with Russian collusion… This is a witch hunt and a disgrace," the president said.
