Montana Sen. Jon Tester is a Democrat up for re-election in a state that President Trump won by 20 points in 2016. Thursday evening the president held a MAGA rally with state Auditor Matt Rosendale, Tester's Republican challenger.
Tester drew Trump’s ire in April when he made public allegations of worrisome behavior by White House physician Ronny Jackson, whom Trump had nominated to be secretary of veterans affairs.
While Jackson ended up pulling his name from consideration, Trump went on a rampage against Tester, saying he would have a "big price to pay in Montana."
Secret Service has just informed me that Senator Jon Tester’s statements on Admiral Jackson are not true. There were no such findings.
