Michael Moore: Trump Will Win In 2020

|

Michael Moore predicted on Friday's edition of HBO's Real Time with host Bill Maher that President Trump will win the U.S. presidential election in 2020. Moore warned Trump will not leave office "if nobody stops him" because he "believes in being president for life."

"He loves the dictators and I'm telling you my friends if we don't stop it now you'll look back at the show when we were all goofing around talking about The Handmaid's Tale, but this is the moment," Moore said of Trump.

Moore said he hoped his new documentary about Trump's America, Fahrenheit 11/9, will get people to the voting booth in November.

In July 2016, Moore correctly predicted that Trump would win the election and the states of Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.

In October 2016, Moore said a Trump victory would be the "biggest f*** you ever recorded in human history."

Moore correctly predicted soon after Trump's election in November 2016 that there would be a "million women march."

MICHAEL MOORE: We have a president who, by the way, was not elected by the people and constantly refers to himself, constantly referring to himself in the Third Reich.

[LAUGHTER]

BILL MAHER: You and I were on this page before anybody else that he was serious about running and that he absolutely could win and probably would. Maybe they will listen to us now.

MOORE: Four months before the election on this stage. They didn't listen before.

MAHER: They're not going to.

MOORE: No, listen, but seriously you have to listen. They have to -- people, where are you?

MOORE: You have to listen this time because he is going to win the 2020 election.

MAHER: Even if he doesn't, he's not going to leave. That's what you have to understand.

MOORE: He will leave after the second term if he doesn't have to -- if nobody stops him. This man believes in being president for life.

MAHER: Yes.

MOORE: He said a few weeks ago, 'Roosevelt got four terms, why can't I?'

MAHER: Yes.

MOORE: He loves Chinese President Xi [Jinping], President Kim (Supreme Leader of North Korea).

BRADLEY WHITFORD: He's hot for dictators, baby.

MOORE: He loves the dictators and I'm telling you my friends if we don't stop it now you'll look back at the show when we were all goofing around talking about The Handmaid's Tale, but this is the moment -- the moment that he said that he was going to appoint someone to the Supreme Court...
