Trump said "at the appropriate time" there is a possibility of a future Kim Jong-un visit to Washington and a U.S. visit to Pyongyang.

Tells media: I don't want to go after the press, but we haven't given up anything (other than agreeing to the meeting).

"Sure they got a meeting," the president said, "but only a person that dislikes Donald Trump would say that I've agreed to make a commitment."

Trump on meeting: Kim Jong Un and I got to know each other well in a confined period of time.

Asked if he is "comfortable" calling Kim Jong-un "very talented." Answered that he is talented.

Prepared to start a new history with North Korea.

"Hope" that the Korean War can "soon end."

Quote: "Yesterday's conflict does not have to be tomorrow's war."

Quote: "Anyone can make war but only the courageous can make peace."

Said Kim Jong Un agreed to start destroying a missile site.

Quote: "I know for a fact that Kim will start a process when he returns to North Korea."

** Trump also responded to the now-famous image of him with G7 leaders. He said the picture is misleading, it looks like the leaders weren't friendly but in reality, they were just having a "friendly talk."
