Former NBA star Dennis Rodman is traveling to Singapore for the upcoming summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. He can be seen arriving at the airport wearing a t-shirt which says, "Potcoin.com, Peace starts in Singapore."
When asked if he would meet with Kim Jong Un and President Trump, he said, "we'll see tomorrow."
"I'm just happy to be a part of it," Rodman said. "Because I think I deserve it. I think that I brought awareness to a lot of things around the world. And I think North Korea has given a lot of people this opportunity to do this conference now and I hope it is a success."
"It could have been a disaster, you know?" Rodman said about the Twitter diplomacy of the last year. "Trump could have said something different. Kim Jong Un could have said something different. But I think that let's just see what this meeting is going to do. So it should go fairly well, but people should not expect so much from the first time. But like I said, the door is open. It is exciting to be a part of it."
He also said he hopes the visit to Singapore "could be a good gateway for Kim to see what is going on in the world."
