President Trump received a cheer of "Nobel! Nobel!" while talking about a deal to denuclearize North Korea at a rally in Macomb County, Michigan Saturday night.
"He's been a great help on the border with North Korea," Trump said of Chinese President Xi. "Things are happening there, a lot of good things."
"I'm not going to give you what's going to actually happen because we don't really know," Trump said of dealing with North Korea. "But I'll tell you one thing we're not playing games."
"That's very nice," he reacted. "I just want to get the job done."
Trump held the at the same time as the 2018 White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C., an event he has declined to attend as president.
