House Iintelligence Chairman Devin Nunes joins Fox News Channel's Maria Baritromo to respond to the DNC's lawsuit accusing The Trump campaign, Russia, WikiLeaks, and others of conspiring to hack the DNC and release Clinton campaign emails ahead of the election. DNC Chair Tom Perez said Sunday morning that the lawsuit is designed to "deter" repeat behavior.
My first thought is, is this some kind of joke? This must be a joke?" Nunes said. "We know who colluded with Russians. They don't want to admit it, but they hired Fusion GPS that hired a British spy who went and colluded with Russians."
"So they should name themselves, and sue to find out what do they have on their servers, why didn't they give those servers to the FBI?"
"This is nothing more and nothing less than a continuation of fundraising off of this scandal," the California Republican said. "So the far left will continue to write checks because they don't believe the president won fair and square."
Because most of the media in this country have continued this narrative... that Trump ws somehow involved with Putin and worked to steal this election. We've now looked at all this. None of that is true. But Democrats need a way to keep their base motivated to turn out in November and to continue to raise money," Nunes said. "They're raising hundreds of millions over this Russia fiasco."
"I always like to say, whatever the left accuses you of doing, they're doing themselves," Nunes said. "That's exactly what you have here."
