President Trump reacts to the FBI raid of his lawyer Michael Cohen in a statement from the cabinet room Monday evening. Trump said what is happening is a "disgrace" and it's "an attack on our country."
Trump also lashed out at Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the probe, calling it a "terrible mistake," and said he ought of let the administration know he would do such a thing. Trump said if he knew Sessions would recuse himself he would have nominated a different attorney general.
TRUMP: They find no collusion and then they go from there and say let's keep going and they raid an office of a personal attorney early in the morning and so I think it's a disgrace. So we'll be talking about it more. But this is the most conflicted group of people I've ever seen. The Attorney General made a terrible mistake when he did this and when he recused himself or he should have certainly let us know if he was going to recuse himself. And we would have used a -- put a different Attorney General in. So he made what I consider to be a very terrible mistake for the country.
