Fox Host Jeanine Pirro is ratcheting up the rhetoric against special counsel Robert Mueller, after comments she made last week saying the FBI needed to be "cleansed" with offended agents being taken out "in cuffs."
Republicans turned their focus on FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe this week after text messages exchanged by two bureau officials before the election appeared to talk about an "insurance policy" against a Trump presidency.
"I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office - that there’s no way he gets elected - but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk," FBI agent Peter Strzok texted on Aug. 15, 2016. "It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40."
"Andy's office" is supposedly referring to Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, according to lawmakers who plan to ask the involved parties under oath. McCabe is reportedly scheduled to testify behind closed doors in front of the House Intelligence Committee on Tuesday.
JEANINE PIRRO, FOX NEWS: What would you say if I told you your vote doesn't count?
That all the effort you put into the issues and candidates is a waste of time. That there are people at the citadel of power who believe that it is their right to invalidate your choice if they don't agree with it.
Folks, this is bigger than politics. I doubt in American presidential campaign history that there has been as great a crime or as large a stain on our democracy as that created by a criminal cabal in our FBI and the Dept. of Justice, who think they know better than we who our president should be.

PIRRO: I took a lot of heat for that, got a lot of pushback... I hereby double down.
This is worse than even I imagined. This week we saw documents that give us context, or as I would say in my DA life, a motive for the crimes I've already described to you in the past. Not that we need motives, because the evidence for the crimes has already been established. And folks, this was the motherlode.
Members of the FBI and the Department of Justice -- some of whom ended up on Bob Mueller’s team to prosecute Donald Trump -- did everything they could to exonerate Hillary Clinton for her crimes and incriminate Donald Trump with a non-existent crime.
Fox News reports:
Pirro criticized FBI Agent Peter Strzok, who changed language in then-FBI Director James Comey's statement on Clinton, for making an overt "effort to take Hillary's acts out of the criminal realm."
Strzok, she said, changed "grossly negligent" -- a criminal standard -- to "extremely careless" -- an ethical standard, thereby allowing Clinton to stay out of legal jeopardy.
She said Strzok was a "student" of Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe, who she called the "consigliere" of the FBI's "crime family."
McCabe met with Strzok and his mistress, Justice official Lisa Page, around the time the bureau began investigating President Trump.
