Republican consultant Rick Wilson said Republicans will "regret" embracing Alabama Republican candidate for U.S. Senate Roy Moore during a panel discussion Monday on CNN Tonight.
Wilson warned Republican approval ratings with women will "drop faster than Roy Moore's trousers at a high school cheerleading tournament."
"I think Republicans are going to regret embracing Roy Moore because their poll ratings with women are going to drop faster than Roy Moore's trousers at a high school cheerleading tournament," Wilson said. "This is not a good situation. This is a guy who is a filthy and perverse individual. He doesn't belong in the U.S. Senate."
"Quite a picture you painted for us," CNN's Don Lemon replied.
"That was disgusting," an incredulous Angela Rye reacted. Rye, a liberal activist, is a CNN political contributor.
