Trump: Disappointed In Justice Department, They Should Be Looking Into Clintons And Democrats

The president made a quick set of comments before departing for Hawaii from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. He discussed his upcoming trip to Asia and answered questions from reporters. Trump said he would not rule out firing Attorney General Jeff Sessions. About Russia collusion allegations, he said:

DONALD TRUMP: All I can tell you is this: There was no collusion, there was no nothing. It is a disgrace, frankly, that they continue.

You wanna look at Hillary Clinton, and the new book that was just put out by Donna Brazile, where she basically bought the DNC and stole the election from Bernie.

About the war on terrorism, he said:

DONALD TRUMP: What we're doing is every time we're attacked, from this point forward, and it took place yesterday, we're hitting them ten times harder.

So when we have an animal do an attack, like he did on the West side of Manhattan, we're hitting them ten times harder. They claimed him as a soldier -- good luck.

Every time they hit us, and we know it is ISIS, we hit them like you folks cannot believe.

About attorney general Jeff Sessions, Trump said:

DONALD TRUMP: I'm really not involved with the Justice Department -- it should be able to run itself -- but they should be looking at the Democrats. They should be looking at Podesta and all of that dishonesty. They should be looking at a lot of things, and a lot of people are disappointed in the Justice Dept. -- including me.
