Associated Press: Former Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has released her first video statement since President Trump's inauguration. She recorded it for the MAKERS conference, which focuses on women's issues and is being held this week in California.
"Despite all the challenges we face, I remain convinced that, yes, the future is female," Clinton declared in the video. "Just look at the amazing energy we saw last month as women organized a march that galvanized millions of people all over the country and across the world."
"So, please, set an example for every women and girl out there that is worried about what the future holds and wonders whether our rights, our opportunities, and values will endure. And, remember, you are the heroes, and history makers, and glass-ceiling breakers of the future. I've said it before and I'll say it again: never doubt that you are valuable, and powerful, and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world,' the former candidate for president said.
