Trump 'Thank You Tour' Stop In Iowa: "We're Going To Bring The Nation Together. We're Not Going To Have A Divided Nation"

President-elect Donald Trump continues his thank you tour with a stop in Des Moines, Iowa, one of the key blue states that he turned red. Iowa is his third stop.

"I'm here for one main reason: to say thank you to the great, great people of Iowa. You went out and pounded and I mean pounded the pavement. You organized your fellow citizens and propelled us victories at grassroots and at every other level," Trump opened the rally.

"We have a movement the likes of which this world has never seen before," he said Wednesday night. "To accomplish our goals, we must reject the failed approaches of the past."

"The American worker built this country, and now it's time for American workers to have a government that answers to them," Trump told an excited crowd.

"We're going to bring the nation together, we're not going to have a divided nation," he said. "We're going to drain the swamp of corruption in Washington, D.C."
