Donald Trump challenges Hillary Clinton on scrubbed emails from her private server. Trump, responding to Clinton's defense, was stopped by co-moderator Anderson Cooper as he tried to move to audience questions. Trump said the debate is "1-on-3," referring to the Democratic presidential nominee, co-moderator Anderson Cooper and co-moderator Martha Raddatz of ABC News.
"These were personal emails, not official," Clinton responded.
"Please allowed her to respond. She did not talk while you talked," CNN's Cooper jumped in.
"Yes, that's true I didn't," Clinton said.
"I know you're into big diversion tonight, anything to avoid talking about your campaign and the way it's exploding and the way Republicans are leaving you," she said.
"Allow her to respond," Cooper said as Trump jumped back in,
"I like to know, Anderson, why aren't you bringing up the e-mails?" Trump asked the co-moderator. "I'd like to know, why aren't you?"
"We brought up the e-mails," Cooper responded.
"No it hasn't. It hasn't. And it hasn't been finished at all," Trump shot back.
"It's one-on-three," Trump finished.
