Donald Trump invited members of the border patrol and several mothers of those killed by illegal aliens to speak on stage with him at a rally in Austin, TX on Tuesday.
The Rememberence Project was set up by a group of mothers of murder victims to honor their children killed by illegal immigrants. "I want to thank you," Mr. Trump said to them.
"I am with you 100%," he said. "And I want to tell you that your children did not die in vain -- because we are not going to allow this to happen to others."
"This election will decide whether or not we have a border," Trump said. "This election will decide whether or not we have a country. Today I met with the moms of incredible American children killed by illegal immigrants as a result of the policies of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama."
"Hillary Clinton will never meet with these families," Trump said before inviting them to take the stage. "She will never hear their incredible, but so sad, stories. She doesn't have the heart."
A member of the border patrol spoke about his endorsement of Mr. Trump before several Rememberence Project mothers took the stage.
"Mr. Trump is the only one who is going to protect your children from being slaughtered like my son was," said one of the mothers.
"My only child, my son, was killed four years ago," said another one of the mothers, holding the ashes of her son. "So if any of you still feel that compassion for illegal families not being separated, this is all I have left of my family -- his ashes. The ashes of my son. I have no family left, and the only one who will protect you, your family, and future generations is our next president, Mr. Donald J. Trump."
"Incredible people," Trump said as they left the stage. "Incredible what they've been through... We will never let these families down."
The crowd erupted into a chant of: "Build that wall! Build that wall! Build that wall!" as they walked off the stage.
"We're going to build the wall, 100%," Trump said earlier in the speech.
