RON PAUL: It's a pretty good question! I have no idea [why Mitt Romney's name is still brought up regarding the 2016 election]. You would think by now they would recognize that he was part ofthe problem. And why the Republican base turned against them. The base now -- you take Kristol and Romney and put them together, this is a exactly what the complaint is, the people who are losing.
I think this dream of having a third party candidate it just a dream... Romney said he wasn't interested.
I think what the neocons will do, the Bill Kristols of the world, they're going to go with Hillary. A Wall Street person, and she is a neo-con, and she wants to spend money on the military, a lot of them will go there. I've always argued that Hillary could probably run as a Republican with her positions.
