NBC: Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy campaigned Thursday with Hillary Clinton. Here he discusses gun control with Chris Matthews as Hillary Clinton continues to use the gun issue against her rival Bernie Sanders.
GOV. DANNEL MALLOY: If people could resort to the courts for the sale of guns that three year-olds, four-year olds could use to shoot their baby sister or their mother or fatehr, than we wouldn't have those guns being sold in our country any longer.
Connecticut has a long history in armaments, I understand that. But we also have a long history in pharmaceuticals. We have an industry that spends billions of dollars to make products to save lives, and if they make a mistake you can sue them. How come we can't sue a gun company?
