Former President Bill Clinton responds to Black Lives Matter activists who interrupted a campaign event for his wife in Philadelphia. Clinton angrily tells Black Lives Matter protesters that they "are defending the people who kill the lives you say matter."
"See these other signs? This is what’s the matter. I don't know how you would characterize the gang leaders who got 13-year-old kids hopped up on crack and sent them out into the street to murder other African American children. Maybe you thought they were good citizens. [Hillary Clinton] didn’t. She didn’t. You are defending the people who kill the lives you say matter! Tell the truth!" Clinton told the BLM protestors.
Clinton also said at the same speech that the "world is coming apart," unlike when he was president. This is being interpreted as a shot against President Obama.
"Unlike when I was president, a lot of things are coming apart around the world now," Clinton declared. "We like to just think about our economic issues, but you have to worry about a collapse in Europe dragging back the American economy. You have to worry about the largest number of refugees since World War II. And all this stuff comes home."
Several days ago, former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis blasted Black Lives Matter for ignoring black-on-black crime and questioned if they thought believe black lives matter.
