Ann Coulter said Michelle Fields is "lying" about Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski assaulting her. Lewandowski was charged with misdemeanor battery. Coulter appeared on Tuesday's broadcast of MSNBC's Hardball and faced off with host Chris Matthews.
Coulter said if this is battery, then she's been "gang raped" on the New York City subway system.
"Would you accept this in any other case? I wouldn't accept it against Bill Clinton," Coulter said.
"You think she's lying," Matthews questioned.
"It's quite clear she's lying," Coulter responded. "She said he grabbed her and nearly tried to forcefully pull her to the ground, that she lost her balance. Trump is absolutely right, it's one of the first things I noticed, her face is placid the entire time."
"Even if it were a justifiable touching, walking into a subway, walking into a concert, in a bar, and by the way, if that is a battery we just saw on the screen, I've been dragged down and and gang raped at bars and on the New York City subway," Coulter said.
