Wall Street Journal columnist Jason Riley says President Obama views terrorism as something "getting in the way" of his agenda and that he views terror attacks as "the new normal."
On Morning Joe Tuesday, Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson conceded "terrorist-inspired attacks are part of the new era that we're in."
"This is a president complaining to reporters that terrorism is getting in the way of his other agenda items. He wants to focus on climate change or redistributing wealth. I don't think his heart is in this fight. He sees this as a new normal. He sees this as a new normal. If containment of ISIS should be the strategy, if it results in a San Bernardino or Paris or Brussels every so often, so be it," Riley said on Monday night's broadcast of Special Report.
